Role Overview

In partnership with senior account leads, provide scientific leadership for the account team;
responsible for day-to-day management of high-quality content delivery across the full range of
medical communication services as required by the account. Provide medical direction, with a focus on accuracy, meeting client objectives, and overall quality of deliverables

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Act as a senior source of account/product/therapy area expertise for the client.

Contribute to the development of products and services.

Liaise effectively with senior colleagues to appropriately resource accounts and projects and contribute to resource forecasting and long-term resource planning.

Proactively identify new opportunities for organic growth in existing accounts.

Contribute to the development of account plan forecasts in liaison with the senior client service lead.

Stay up to date with developments in the worldwide healthcare industry relevant to the medical communications/account/therapy area & communicate effectively to the client and account teams.

Person Specification

Leadership and ability to build stakeholder relationships

Understanding of the product/therapy area with commercial/financial and market awareness

Understanding of healthcare industry guidelines, principles, and processes pertinent to medical communications.

Understanding of client challenges and objectives to challenge their thinking and provide ideas and creative solutions.
