Our client are looking to add a service chemist to their team to provide speciality and general water treatment chemical conditioning services and equipment primarily for industrial clients

Key Duties and Responsibilities

This positions primary purpose is to be responsible for giving our clients the best in class quality service by providing on-site corrective/preventative maintenance and offering after-sales technical and commercial support.
Other Key Responsibilities:
•  Provide service, chemical treatment analysis, monitoring, and account management to existing customers/contracts.
•  Provide customer recommendations for best working practices.
•  Manage accounts to budget.
•  Gather information and attend client review meetings.
•  Review Site - Water Services Risk Assessment.
•  Gather site information and compile site logbooks.
•  Maintain and audit Site Log Books.
•  Initiate water treatment program on new accounts and commission new dosing/control installations.
•  Timely reporting on progress or delays.
•  Timely completion and submission of risk assessment work reports, and all other documentation.
•  Offer the client after-sales technical and commercial support.
•  Offer feedback on future product development, features, and functions.

Person Specification

•  An engineering, technology, or science qualification (Level 4, HND or equivalent) would be advantageous but not essential
•  An understanding of basic controls technology, basic mechanical engineering and/or electrical engineering.
•  Flexibility to travel
•  Valid UK driving licence
•  Time management, organisation and communication skills
