Johnson and Johnson-owned firm DePuy Orthopaedics has launched a website designed to address the needs of those who provide healthcare for sufferers of chronic shoulder pain.

The site features social training links, interactive training modules and location details for shoulder specialist referrals.

Primary care providers will also be able to access a community care took kit, which includes a newsletter article, PowerPoint presentation that they can use for community sessions and a radio public service announcement.

Dr Joseph Iannotti, chairman of the Orthopaedic and Rheumatologic Institute, said: "It's important for clinicians to know about the entire range of treatment options so patients can get the best counsel and care possible at the appropriate time."

DePuy is a member of Johnson and Johnson's DePuy group of companies, which also includes DePuy Spine, Codman and Shurtleff and DePuy Mitek. Collectively, they aim to deliver their innovation and shared knowledge to patients around the globe.
