Job Title: Business Unit Manager - Established Products

Job Purpose:

Successfully manages the Creon Business Unit (Total Head count 10, Sales ~$35 Mln) towards profit by maximising the sales and margin revenue, through the management of the sales & marketing. Sets, evaluates and achieves sales objectives and marketing strategies according to the UK’s overall objectives and policies. Plans, executes and monitors effectively potential new product launches, being the leading individual. Leads the strategy and implementation for the relevant Product range having commercial product line responsibility for the relevant Products.

Hold accountability and responsibility for allocated financial planning (Financial Plan, Focus/Update, LRP)
• Deliver sales and margin goals for the Business Unit.
• Responsibility for ensuring all expenses within A P&S budgets.
• Recruitment, development and management of the sales and marketing teams within the Business Unit.
• Delivering all strategic goals and impact goals relevant to the Business Unit.
• Identifying, analysing and implementing business development opportunities for the Business Unit.
• Co-ordinate new product development processes for introduction of new product into the unit.
• Complete all activities and analysis associated with internal Plans and Updates.
• Hold accountability and responsibility for allocated Brand Financial planning.
• Manage the execution of Brand activities as per Brand Plan and lead and contribute to Brand Team activities
• Manage implementation of the commercial Brand strategy and tactical Brand activities
• Lead the Brand Team around a brand vision and objectives that are shared by all members
• Continuously encourage Brand Team members’ collaboration and foster team spirit
• Take accountability and responsibility for Brand Team activities and processes (organise/chair Brand Team meetings)
• Proactively encourage Brand Team Members to ensure timely and high quality execution of the complete Brand planning process (Brand Team Create/ approve/ change content in the Brand Plans)
• Negotiate with Affiliate Management Team for resources and budget for Brand Team

Person Profil

• Educated to degree level, or, degree calibre.
• Marketing qualification would be beneficial.
• Fully competent in MS Office computer packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
• Relevant Sales Representative experience.
• Relevant marketing experience as a Brand, Senior Brand Manager or Marketing Manager.
• Relevant sales management experience as a National Sales Manager managing a sizeable sales team.
• Ideally relevant experience of managing marketing and sales professionals.
• Talent management and succession planning skills
• Experience of delivering consistent results and evidence of driving this
• Experience of financial planning in a large organization i.e. Plan and update preparation
• Experience of initiating and completing strategic projects that add to the bottom line.
• Experience of managing difficult change and transitions
Evidence of through analysis and follow through on commitments
