ROLE: Product Manager / Specialist

TERRITORY: Natonwide, involving some international travel (The successful candidate will work out of the H/O in High Wycombe 2 days per week)

PRODUCTS: Pelvic Floor specific therapy area. Urodynamics.

Markeing responsibilities -
- Co-ordinating, organising and managing exhibitions.
- Responsibility towards the direction of the product and how it should be sold in the market.
- Maintaining and developing product knowledge (being the expert where features and benefits and technical know how is concerned)
- Assist in the development of ASP material and PR in line with a pre-approved budget.
- Identify and help to resolve product and service complaints.
- Training Sales Specialists.
- Record and report accurate information.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior management and healthcare professionals.

Sales Responsibilities:
- Attend Sales Meetings at SHAs independantly and with the Sales Specialists and / or Senior Management.
- Provide sales support, coaching and advice to the Sales Specialist.
- Drive and promote increases in sales for your specialist product.


Competitive Basic Salary

5 years service or more 30 days
£4 lunch allowance when visiting customers

Bonus Structure -
Gross Margin bonus - an annual gross margin target is agreed. Each quarter £1k is earned if quarterly gross margins are achieved, plus 5% of any excess over gross margin.
Discretionary bonus - to be given from time to time for work that deliver significant additional gross margins e.g. successfully adding a profitable new product line
Up to £1000 for achievement of Quarterly Objectives
This gives an OTE bonus of £8k pa - with an opportunity to earn more if sales targets are exceeded

Person Profil

Qualifications -
Life Sciences, Economics, Law or Nursing graduate caliber candidate or equivelant

Experience -
Marketing experience - within urology / gynae / pelvic floor and related therapy areas
Product Management experience - within urology / gynae / pelvic floor and related therapy areas
Sales experience within the obs and gynae / urology / pelvic floor related therapy areas, with a keen interest in progressing towards a marketing role. Must be able to demonstrate key skills required in a marketing biased role.
