Our client are a leading cleanroom/clean air device qualification company based in the North West looking to add a Validation/Service Engineer to their growing team due to huge new contracts being signed within the Pharma industry. The company offer their services to a wide variety or private and public-sector companies nationwide and have a niche team of dedicated, multiskilled Engineers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

•  Validating, Verifying & testing cleanroom Ventilation Systems in accordance with relevant standards ISO14644:3, ISO14644:1 & EU GMP ANNEX 1.
•  Validating, Verifying & Testing Critical Ventilation Systems in accordance with relevant legislation((HTM)03-01) & hospital requirements
•  DOP testing Hepa filters
•  Record Room Lighting & Sound levels.
•  Airflow & Pressure measurements Testing
•  Smoke visualisation studies
•  Room recovery rate testing.
•  Area Non-Viable Particle Counts
•  AHU Audits
•  Rebalancing Airflows
•  Report Writing & delivering back to client- advising on remedials.
•  Training Junior Engineers and developing skills of existing engineers less senior.
•  Enforcing H&S
•  Testing LEVs, MSC'S, Fume Cupboards, Isolators & Laminar flow cabinets
Key equipment in our clients portfolio:
•  Microbiological Safety Cabinets (Class I/II/III).
•  VLAF laminar flow units.
•  HLAF laminar flow units.
•  Isolator Units.
•  Downflow benches.
•  Downflow booths.

Person Specification

•  Competent in the qualification of cleanroom suites to ISO14644:3 & ISO14644:1 standards
•  Competent in the qualification of clean air devices to BS EN 12469 standard
•  Competent in the qualification of UCV's within hospital environments to HTM-03-01 standard.
•  Must have an understanding of HEPA filter integrity testing (DOP), Area Non-Viable particle counting, Air Change Rate verification, Room pressure verification as a minimum.
•  Computer literate ideal but not essential (report writing)
•  Full driving licence
•  Flexible with travelling/overnight stays
•  Strong knowledge of Ventilation, Ductwork & Air Systems and their market.
•  Strong verbal & written communication
•  Good relationship building skills
•  Experience working at Consultancy level with the ability to advise, build & maintain business relationships
•  IPAF/PASMA
•  Asbestos Awareness Training
•  Good time management
