Role Overview

Location: UK & Ireland

To drive sustainable business growth and achieve sales target within the private sector, OEM and distribution markets through identifying sales opportunities, developing and managing relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring outstanding customer service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Deliver net sales budgets and targets, ensuring all appropriate actions are taken in order to maximise sales growth performance.
•  Seek out new business opportunities to enable sales growth for the short/medium/long-term and promote the Nikon Bio Imaging Lab and its services to biotech and pharmaceutical firms.
•  Create, deliver and execute business development strategy to grow Nikon business through the private sector, distribution and OEM channels, frequently reviewing and updating action plans.
•  Build, develop and maintain long-term relationships with customer base, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of solutions to customers needs.
•  Ensure that all customer issues are resolved promptly through effective, timely internal communication.

Person Specification

Degree in Biosciences or STEM discipline.
•  Be pro-active: Demonstrates a dynamic, pro-active approach to achieving targets and meeting deadlines .
•  Display integrity: Able to plan, organise & prioritise workload effectively and work autonomously when at home.
•  Communicate well: An outgoing & confident individual who demonstrates a high level of effective verbal & written communication .
•  At least 2-3 years' experience working within the UK Private Biotechnology Sector.
