- What were you looking for when you were seeking a new role? I.e. more flexible working, career development, redundancy etc.
I was attracted to the role as it allowed me to manage my own time and organise my work diary. On top of that, my office is now at home so I no longer have a daily commute to the office. As the job is target driven it has the added benefit of continuously rewarding my success.
- What benefits have you had since securing your role i.e. achieving a personal goal, contributed to you buying a house, provided more support for your family, given you more confidence etc.
Now that I’m earning a bonus I save the additional money towards my savings goals! On top of that I now have a company car which has effectively put more money in my pocket at the end of the month versus owning and maintaining my own vehicle (as I was in my previous job). Aside from the financial benefits my new job role has helped develop my skills in presenting, time management, organisation, and Microsoft Excel. The list could go on..!
- How did you find the recruitment process?
Really straightforward. Zenopa organised the interview times for me on my behalf. I attended the company Head Office for an interview during the middle of the COVID pandemic but the social distancing and sanitising rules were in place and respected throughout the process.
- How has your work/life balance improved?
My work/life balance has dramatically improved in the 12 months I’ve been in my new role. COVID-19 forced all of my routine customer meetings and presentations to an online format. Moving forwards virtual / remote calling will now be a part of my role for the long-term. This reduces my time on the road, which is better for the environment and my work / life balance. Not getting stuck in traffic so often means I can spend more evenings at the golf course!
- How did you find the service provided to you by Zenopa?
Zenopa have always been professional, helpful, and friendly. Liam managed my case initially but this was seamlessly handed over to Libby - both of which I can’t recommend highly enough; they always had my interests at the forefront of their work. Whenever I called the Zenopa office and Libby wasn’t available there was always someone who would deal with my query efficiently – notably Nick when you moved to more remote / home working during COVID lockdowns.
