Role Overview

-Drive sales of kits and reagents to academic, biotechnology and pharmaceutical accounts across the Southwest, South Wales and West Midlands.
-Secure new business and develop / protect existing accounts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

-Build loyal relationships with end-users, laboratory managers, procurement and finance managers.
-Gain a real understanding of customers' experimental needs and tailor solutions that significantly improve laboratory workflow as well as financial performance.
-Attend exhibitions in order to increase market presence of the company's products.

Person Specification

-Degree educated or higher in a science discipline i.e. molecular biology, genetics with good academic and practical experience in PCR and associated molecular techniques.
-Clear and confident communicator with a strong commercial awareness and able to engage effectively at all levels.
-Self-motivated, results oriented and a strong work ethic.
-A genuine desire to move into scientific sales.

Package

Starting basic salary depending on experience
20% OTE Bonus
