TERRITORY: South Wales

PRODUCTS: Modern and Traditional woundcare.

CLIENTS: Hospitals NHS ( Hospital Supplies / Purchasing personnel, Tissue Viability Nurses), Private Sector, PCT board members and all key customers in the Territory.

Due to increasing demand for the HARTMANN range, we are expanding within the UK wound care market.

Reports to: Regional Sales Manager

Basic Function: to identify, develop and maintain business with customers and prospects within Hospitals and Community sectors with the objective of developing a High Company and product profile throughout the Territory and to achieve sales target.


1. To provide regular systematic coverage of all relevant NHS Trust Hospitals & confederations, Community Healthcare and Pharmacy Market customers throughout the territory.

2. To identify the budget holders and key decision makers in each actual or potential outlet and sell to them.

3. To provide on-going educational support wherever the Company's products are in use, as well as guidance in their application and cost.

4. To be aware at all times of the products that are on Drug Tariff or Scottish NHS contract and their prices. Also the formulary status of Trusts within the territory and their review dates.

5. To maintain regular contact with Hospital Supplies / Purchasing personnel, Tissue Viability Nurses, PCT board members and all key customers in the Territory.

6. To maintain a forward schedule of appointments with Key Customers and prospects in
your business diary.

7. To maintain up to date Customer records, and enter all forward planning on the CRM database, and to submit monthly reports on time in accordance with Company policy.

8. To develop your professional sales ability through on-going training in product knowledge, demonstrating ability, selling techniques and competitor profiles.

9. To attend sales meetings, training courses and appraisal meetings as directed and to play an active role in the proceedings.

10. To feed back to your Sales Manager regular information on customer developments and competitive activity.

11. To ensure that in both appearance and conduct, you reflect to your Customers at all times the highest standards of the Hartmann Group.

12. To undertake any reasonable task as may be directed.

Healthcare sales experience
Candidates who are experience in working to KPI's and targets
Woundcare ideally but not essential
