PRODUCTS: Continence Management Range

CLIENTS: Hospitals Home Delivery Service, care home and acute hospital markets, with the overall objective of achieving sales and profit targets.

Reports to:
Regional Sales Manager

Function: To develop the Continence Management business, and maintain existing business within the Home Delivery Service, Care Home and Acute Hospital markets, with the overall objective of achieving sales and profit targets.


KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To take full responsibility for the successful operation of the company's business within the territory, and proactively respond to situations without prompting.

2. By targeting the best potential accounts to facilitate the opportunity of negotiation for a new Home Delivery Service contract, a contract renewal/extension, or inclusion of Care Homes/Hospitals within a contract.

3. To construct and update monthly a Business Action Plan for each target account as agreed with the Regional Sales Manager.

4. To provide systematic coverage of all existing Home Delivery Service contracts and other active accounts, and provide the agreed support of these contracts in line with the contract service level agreements.

5. To maintain regular contact and build effective relationships with all appropriate Primary Care and Acute Trust key contacts in line with the Business Action Plans, and in agreement with the Regional Sales Manager.

6. To demonstrate genuine care for the company's current and potential external customers and ensure that the customer are your priority in line with the company objectives.

7. To maintain a forward schedule of appointments with the Key Contacts in line with the Business Action Plans and in agreement with the Regional Sales Manager.






8. To develop professional sales competence to that of the Territory Sales Manager standard as detailed in the HARTMANN Territory Sales Management Competency Framework and Personal Development Plans, within the timescale agreed with the Regional Sales Manager.

9. To attend sales meetings, training courses and appraisal meetings as directed, and to play an active role in the proceedings.

10. To take responsibility for updating your market and product knowledge, and communicating all new information on customer developments and competitor activity by the agreed method to the Regional Sales Manager.

11. To communicate effectively and considerately to internal and external customers at all times.

12. To ensure that in both appearance and conduct you reflect to your customer's internal and external at all times, the highest standards of the Hartmann Group.

13. To undertake any reasonable task as may be directed.

Person Profil

Experienced: Theatre sales experience, a clinical background would be advantageous.

Second interview- panel interview in head office (Heywood, Lancs) - TBC
