Previous job - Territory Sales Manager

TERRITORY: North West England

PRODUCTS: Modern and Traditional woundcare.

CLIENTS: Hospitals NHS ( Hospital Supplies / Purchasing personnel, Tissue Viability Nurses), Private Sector, PCT board members and all key customers in the Territory.

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Basic Function: to identify, develop and maintain business with customers and prospects within Hospitals and Community sectors with the objective of developing a High Company and product profile throughout the Territory and to achieve sales target.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To provide regular systematic coverage of all relevant NHS Trust Hospitals & confederations, Community Healthcare and Pharmacy Market customers throughout the territory.

2. To identify the budget holders and key decision makers in each actual or potential outlet and sell to them.

3. To provide on-going educational support wherever the Company's products are in use, as well as guidance in their application and cost.

4. To be aware at all times of the products that are on Drug Tariff or Scottish NHS contract and their prices. Also the formulary status of Trusts within the territory and their review dates.

5. To maintain regular contact with Hospital Supplies / Purchasing personnel, Tissue Viability Nurses, PCT board members and all key customers in the Territory.

6. To maintain a forward schedule of appointments with Key Customers and prospects in
your business diary.

7. To maintain up to date Customer records, and enter all forward planning on the CRM database, and to submit monthly reports on time in accordance with Company policy.

8. To develop your professional sales ability through on-going training in product knowledge, demonstrating ability, selling techniques and competitor profiles.

9. To attend sales meetings, training courses and appraisal meetings as directed and to play an active role in the proceedings.

10. To feed back to your Sales Manager regular information on customer developments and competitive activity.

11. To ensure that in both appearance and conduct, you reflect to your Customers at all times the highest standards of the Hartmann Group.

12. To undertake any reasonable task as may be directed.

Person Profil

" A medical sales professional who has a minimum of 24 months successful experience ideally with Wound dressings / pressure area / skin care sales or Medical consumables sales.

" Will demonstrate broad understanding of today's NHS and be able to show sales success with Health Boards, Acute Trusts, Confederations, or PCT's

" Will be able to demonstrate "staying power" and commitment with any previous companies where they have worked


Interview-Prozess

1st interview on patch with Manager
2nd interview will be face to face with Regional and National Sales Manager - 4 mini interviews with Heads Of Departments plus a presentation.
