TERRITORY: S. Yorks/Notts/ Derby/Lincs/Leceister/Norfolk/Anglia/Bedford

CLIENTS: Hospitals - theatre based personnel, procurement, operating department managers.

PRODUCTS: Barrier - single use medical devices, Klinidrape - zone draping concept for orthopaedic extremity drapes and split sheets and ProcedurePak ranges - custom procedure trays.


To work as part of the Territory Team to ensure surgical sales growth and profitability targets are achieved within the customer base of the specified territory.

Develop sales growth through investigation, analysis and education of the sales territory.

To develop and present commercial offers when securing new business of defending existing business.


1) Achieve agreed sales targets by commercially managing existing A & B customers and by the identification and development of new accounts so that we maintain a constant flow of new business opportunities.
2) Maintain the territory Business Dashboard and appropriate Business Plans for the territory. Ensure an efficient and effective way of working with the Surgical Specialist for the territory in order to maximise business opportunities.
3) Demonstrate effective use of all sales tools and materials provided by MHC to identify and develop real prospects (eg Mobile Sales, Sales Platform, Tollgates, Promotional Materials) to ensure sales targets are achieved.
4) To own the pricing ProcedurePak offers in line with set pricing parameters.
5) Educate key stakeholders within accounts in European Standard EN13795, the clinical effectiveness of Synthetic Multi Patient Use products and the overall competitiveness of the Molnlycke Health Care BARRIER and ProcedurePak offer, ensuring we are the first port of call for customers wishing to convert in order to increase both the profile and business opportunities for MHC UK.
6) To own the planning and execution phases of Product Trials with the Surgical Specialist providing product code and volume requirement.
7) Secure existing business and develop new opportunities through understanding and liasing with Confederations and Consortiums in the Territory.
8) To jointly Co-ordinate all tender responses with the Pricing and Contracts Department ensuring the offer meets the predefined requirements of the customer.
9) Have a full understanding of the NHS SC National contracts that impact MHC Surgical products and utilise wherever possible in order to exceed sales targets.
10) Develop real opportunities for the new ProcedurePak business through selling the benefits of Custom Procedure Trays to key decision makers in order to exceed sales targets.
11) Provide support for local and national product trials
12) Assist the Surgical Specialist in maintaining Private Sector business.


Basic Salary dependant on experience.
Fully expensed company car

Person Profil

2 years succesfull sales track record within the health care market (hospitals- disp or equip), Knowledge of the Theatre environment and procedures
